About SaberDB

SaberDB is a free, community-built catalog of real-world lightsaber replicas, sound fonts, makers, installers, and vendors. Our mission is simple: make it easier for fans, collectors, cosplayers, and newcomers to discover and compare the growing universe of custom and production lightsabers — all in one searchable place, without the scattered spreadsheets and forum threads.

The database covers everything from mass-produced neopixel and baselit replicas to one-of-a-kind custom builds, alongside a directory of manufacturers, boutique builders, installers, parts suppliers, sound font makers, and convention sellers. Every entry includes useful specs where available — blade type, soundboard, hilt material, price range, dueling grade, and compatible boards — so you can make informed decisions before you buy.

SaberDB is built for the lightsaber community: collectors researching their next purchase, cosplayers matching a screen-accurate hilt, duelists looking for combat-ready options, and newcomers simply trying to understand the difference between Proffie, CFX, and Xenopixel. It's also a resource for the makers and small businesses themselves, giving them a discoverable, organized presence alongside the bigger names.

The project is maintained by Biker Jedi, with invaluable help from community contributors who submit corrections, new entries, and vendor details through our contributions system. Several vendors have also endorsed and collaborated on the project as Research Partners, helping verify listings and shape the platform. SaberDB is an independent fan project and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Lucasfilm or Disney.
